The rationale of WEC is to promote the EAP concept at large through consultation and training with specific focus on accountability, monitoring and evaluation in the EAP and Wellness fields.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health from Unisa and a doctoral degree in Social Work from the University of Free State on EAPs in South Africa.
He is a rated researcher at the National Research Foundation
